Stuffed Buns in Pressure Cooker


Maida flour 250g
Wheat flour 250g
Onions 1 no.
Potatoes ¼ kg
Green Chilly 1 no.
Carrot 1 no.
Ginger 1 tsp
Milk ½ cup
Yeast 5g
Sugar 2 tsp
Black Jeera As required
Cumin 1 tsp
Coriander As required
Oil As required
Salt As required

 

 

 

Method

  1. Heat milk to a finger warmth temperature and then add the yeast and sugar and remove from stove – mix and set it aside
  2. To a bowl add the maida and wheat flour, a tsp of salt, 4 tsp of oil and mix well
  3. Now add the yeast mixture and mix it well
  4. Add water in small quantities and make it to a soft, pliable and loose dough
  5. Gloss it with oil and cover it and allow it raise for 2 hours
  6. Heat a wok and add 2 tsp of oil
  7. Add the cumin seeds, ginger, chilli,
  8. Now add the onion and sauté it for 1 minutes
  9. Now add the carrot, cooked potato and mix it well
  10. Mix well, sprinkle coriander and remove from stove
  11. Now to a cooker add stones and allow to get hot
  12. Meanwhile take small portions of dough and put in the filling
  13. Sprinkle some black jeera on top of it
  14. Now arrange it in the vessel which you are going to keep in the cooker
  15. Cover it and allow it raise for 20 minutes
  16. Now place it in the cooker and cover it and cook for 20 minutes in medium flame
  17. The next 10 minutes in high flame and the next 10 minutes on the stove without flame
  18. Remove, brush with some water
  19. Allow it to cool and serve
